2015 Year at a Glance

Once again, it’s this time of year to connect with our readers, friends, fans and followers to talk about the great progress we have achieved in the last 12 months. Thanks to all your support and encouragement, we have worked hard at improving our platform and we will continue to do the same in 2016.

First and foremost, our recognition goes to Our LIBizus, the core and reason of our effort, and the ones we celebrate every day. From small restaurateurs to large organizations’ Presidents, and from incredible innovators to one of the 25 Most Powerful Latinas in the country, we have been honored with their presence and support. They are “our tribe,” the fastest growing economic demographic in the nation, the women who day in and day out are building their businesses, their careers, their families and their communities.

In February, I was honored to be selected as one of 15 Latinas to follow on Twitter in 2015 by social media influencer Lorraine C. Ladish among other Latina bloggers who made me humble for their work and their reach. Thanks, our Madrina Editorial Team Member Lorraine and one of our most loyal supporters!

We participated at the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey Annual Convention and Business Expo. Our home chamber, the SHCCNJ is one of our strongest media partners.  We look forward to continue collaborating with them in 2016. We thank Carlos A. Medina, President of the SHCCNJ and Vice President Luis O. De la Hoz, for their continuous support.

We received the invitation to participate at the International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals in Atlantic City. The event opened new possibilities and opportunities for Latinas in the travel and event planning industry, which motivated us to expand our sections and launch Travel and Work.
